In the 'Available Patches' Section below is a table that includes available Patches, a description of the Patch, the release version apply signature and links to the patch media. The following defines the columns in the 'Available Patches Table' to help you better determine which patch is the one you want to install. 

Patch # This is a Visionary Solutions, Inc. internally assigned patch number. You may write this value down for reference however the PackageIT About Screen will display the release version installed on your machine.

Description
This is a description of the Patch

Applies To
This value provides the release version numbers used to generate the patch. You can obtain the release version number installed on your machine via the About box.
Patch files are built using two release versions of the PackageIT application. The first release version is the older release while the second release version is the new release. Those areas of the product which are found to be different from the older release to the new release are compiled into one patch file that you can install. 
An example entry for this might be '1.1 to 1.4' this entry would indicate that the available patch was build based on the differences between PackageIT releases 1.1 and 1.4. Install this patch would upgrade your version of PackageIT to release 1.4

Patch Media
Two options are made available to you when considering applying a PackageIT patch. 

OneClick Patch Installation

The first option is our OneClick Installation which will install the patch direct from this website with minimal intervention on your part. To utilize OneClick Installation press the Install button. 

Download Patch

The second option is to download the patch for installation at a later time. Patch files have a .msp extension and can be placed in any folder for later updating the PackageIT application to the latest available release. 

The easiest way to apply a patch, when downloading the .msp file, is to double-click the .msp file in Windows Explorer or right-click and select Open.

From the command line, you can also apply the patch with the MsiExec.exe /p option. Type the following statement to apply a patch package located at X:\Product Updates\Build 36\PatchForV1.msp:

msiexec /p "X:\Product Updates\Build 36\PatchForV1.msp"

To utilize the Download option press the Download button.

With a patch installed you can remove the downloaded .msp file if this is the patch media option you selected.

Available Updates

In the 'Available Updates' Section below you will find miscellaneous downloads that fix specific issues where a PackageIT Patch was not created. 

 Sentinel 5.39.2 Dongle Driver Update. This update corrects reported install error number 1920 RainbowSSD5.39.2.zip 

 Sentinel SuperPro Server Patch. This update corrects reported random GPFs in Windows 95/98 and Me. For Windows NT, 2000 and XP the following occurs after installation:



Download the file, SentinelSuperProServerPatch.zip, and unzip to new folder. Read the installation.txt file for instructions on replacing the Sentinel Super Pro file.
