ackageIT provides
you with a powerful and flexible tool to perform package printing of digital
images. However, there are several new areas where PackageIT will be adding
additional features and functionality in the future. This new functionality will
be provided in a component fashion. Each component, called a Plug-In,
will be independently installable, and completely integrated with PackageIT, but
will not require you to reinstall the main PackageIT application.
As you purchase
and install new PackageIT Plug-Ins, PackageIT will seamlessly “grow” in its
capability, adding more functions to help you in your everyday production.
- BatchIT
-
BatchIT will allow you to batch your jobs with greater flexibility, allowing selections such as Package type, Border layout, Overlays, etc. BatchIT will allow multiple photographers to produce batches for scheduled off-hours printing. You will be able to work offline from a remote site, and submit to PackageIT via the Internet. Also, you can save and reload common batches for minor editing prior to submitting to PackageIT.
- Contact Sheet Builder
-
The Contact Sheet Builder will help you quickly and easily create Contact Sheets for any of your jobs. You can proof complete jobs for your customer’s approval. You will be able to select from one or more folders or custom select a pre-set number of images to use. You will also be able to customize the thumbnail sizes, allowing a greater range of flexibility in the layout of your Contact Sheets.
- Job Separator Builder
-
The Job Separator Builder will eliminate manual sorting by separating your printed jobs for you. You can use one of our pre-built job separator profiles, or create your own. Then, you can add automatic field variables such as Date, JobID, Job Details, etc., or you can design your own fields to be included in the job separator sheet.
- Unit Builder
-
The Unit Builder Plug-In will help you quickly and easily define your own Layout Units. Your new unit types will be automatically visible in PackageIT. You will be able to modify, replace, or delete any existing layout units. Also, you will be able to easily move your Layout Unit definitions between workstations.
